Mentor Series Class on Basic Photography Starting

Ray Quijano is starting a Mentor Series Class on basic Photography. This series will be 5 classes on basic photography with your camera.
 

Classes will meet every Tuesday and the first five paid club members that sign up will take part, with the first meeting on Tuesday February

Requirements: bring your camera. Read the instruction manual before coming to class and bring it with you. Also bring a favorite photo you shot.

If more than 5 sign-up then a Thursday class will be added, but a requirement of 5 people are a must for a class to be held.

Pennyrile Forest Fall Photography Weekend

The fall colors are starting to look pretty good for this weekend during Pennyrile Park’s Fall Photography event and we’re hoping that there will be a lot of photography club members to take part in the event. The dates are October 21 – 23rd and you may call the park at 1-800-325-1711 to register and reserve rooms.

This weekend consists of a digital photography contest with point & shoot, intermediate, and masters divisions, evening programs, critique and award ceremony. Bring your own camera. Registration is $35. Register by October 9th and receive a $5 discount. Children 16 and under can compete in the competition for a reduced fee of $10. 10% discount on lodging available.

2010 Land Between The Lakes Photo Competition

“Friends of LBL” formerly known as The Land Between The Lakes Association, announces The 2010 Land Between The Lakes Photo Competition. Rocky Mountain School of Photography is coming to Louisville, Ky

Rocky Mountain School of Photography (RMSP)! is bringing a weekend of photography instruction to Louisville, Kentucky on March 26-27, 2011. At each RMSP Weekend we offer ten classes to choose from taught by knowledgeable and inspiring instructors, a professional critique session and great door prizes.
