October 9, 2017 Meeting!

Our next meeting is this Monday, October 9, 2017 at 7pm. at the Hatley Building, which is part of the Health Technology Campus, on 750 Laffoon Street in Madisonville, Ky. We will meet on the second floor, last classroom on the right.

Program:  We’ll catch up on judging the August – October Photo Contests as we didn’t have enough folks show up to do so at our last meeting.

Also, during this meeting we’ll discuss where we want to go with the club in the future. After being your president for these last 7 years it has come time that I step down from the position. I have just too many things going on in my life at this point to continue as president, plus change is good! Hopefully one of you out there will step-up and fill this position.

Some other options to consider are: Changing the club to a less formal group, such as the Evansville Photography Group and some of the others in the area. This means we wouldn’t need officers, nor would we collect dues.

If we were to do this then I purpose that the money that’s left in the club’s account be spent to purchase a digital camera for Browning Springs, Jessie Stuart and South Hopkins Middle Schools.

We will discuss these and any other suggestions at this coming meeting and the membership that attends will decide on the direction we will take. I hope everyone will try to attend this important meeting.

Don’t forget that the Pennyrile Fall Photography Weekend is October 20-22nd and the speakers will be Walt Roycraft and Chuck Summers.
